        1. @leonkfox A lot of companies use it internally so that departments or people can "tweet" at eachother without exposing customer data to the internet

          1. @ceruleanspark Ah, I see. I take it they somehow manage to make all of the posts non public, unlike here on RDN where everything is public? I had just assumed it was a way for communities to have a small, more close knit Twitter site to interact with eachother on, kind of like RDN is.

            1. @leonkfox They're non-public by virtue of the server it's running on not being hooked up to the internet at all.

              1. @ceruleanspark Oh, I see! Heh, sounds like a better way of maintaining one's privacy than using Twitter, I suppose you could always protect the tweets on your feed, but that method does sound a lot more secure from a business perspective.
