Ok everypony. As Colfax said, a minimum of lets say, a week of being a member should be required to create a group. That would end the spam groups, while not being a problem to normal ones. Also, a wordfilter in links with the word "loan" should be useful too. Lets get this into popular so @cabal and @purpletinker consider the idea.

@nerthos That really won't do anything. most of the useless groups are made by bored members that have been here a while. Like me. I made, like, thirty redenchilada groups for no reason other than I was bored and I could.

@cabal It wasn't just that group that got erased though. A bunch of pointless groups got erased. That's not trolling, that's "maintaining the site".

@cabal Don't misread me, I'm very much pro nuking the groups, protecting the site, etc. We could do with more of that at times. I just found your particular comment on freedom of speech difficult to reconcile with that.
