  1. Has anyone else noticed that Android picks the bad desserts to name it's OSs after?

    1. @theonepony I can't even keep up with their OS name scheme. 'Druther have numbers.

      1. @scribus They're all named after sweets. Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, etc.

        1. @theonepony Yeah, I know that, I just can't keep track of what the order is.

          1. @scribus It's alphabetic.

            1. @ceruleanspark That helps, then. Quite a lot, actually. Now, if I only had a device which would support more than the version before the one I actually have... (That's what I get for choosing the free option when I upgraded my phone...)

              1. @scribus Hey, I chose the expensive option and I STILL got shafted. It's basically impossible to predict, which is my biggest bugbear with the android ecosystem. 'S why I have a Palm Pre 2. I knew that wasn't going anywhere, ever, and I was happy with what it did out of the box.

                1. @ceruleanspark Yeah, same problem netbooks encountered with Linux, more or less. =/ Freedom is both boon and burden.

          2. @scribus The newest, Ice Cream Sandwich, drops in December. The current one is Honeycomb, which is version 3.3, I think.

            1. @theonepony I imagine this will all become slightly more relevant and thus easier to remember when I have a more powerful and up to date device.
