@macpony55 I totally agree.. Season 1 > Season 2... It feels like Hasbro is keeping us too close to the show, and so now they're changing the style of the show just to accommodate us bronies, when in reality, they are taking away from the show we fell in love with... however, hearth's warming eve wasn't bad...

@the20percent I'll be surprised if the show is still around for a 3rd season. I love MLP but it seems like bronies are dropping like flys and I agree with you, this season just doesn't feel the same as the first.

@ponydude2143 I thought as much myself; the first four episodes all had a bit of a darker edge to them, and when Sisterhooves Social brought back the heartwarming stuff, I was like 'Yay!'

@ponydude2143 There hasn't been a bad episode this season, just some that were a bit different (which is fine by me, since diversity breeds continuation). On the whole I felt that Mare-Do-Well was the weakest ep, but it wasn't at all bad.

@ponydude2143 My main beef with Mare-do-Well was the overuse of superhero movie cliches. They could have gotten the point across with less than they used. As well, some of the mane cast were contradicting themselves personality-wise. Best Pet won a lot of favor from me simply because of the new song. I also like stories that draw on old fables and fairy tales (Best Pet from 'Tortoise and the Hare', Cutie Pox from 'The Red Shoes')
