@nerthos It was odd, he was a complete arsehole, totally unrelateable etc, yet I still loved his character and even rooted for him :S Yet Kratos managed to make me despise him rather than care for him, when he's more of a hero than Vercetti is.

@leonkfox The thing is, Vercetti had charisma, and an impressive sense of business. He was convicted for killing 11 guys when he was sent to a trap, and then destroyed every mafia in Vice City, and killed the head of the Forelli family, and became more or less the owner of the whole Vice City. And got Mercedes. Mercedes was awesome.

@nerthos I guess it was just the fact that Vice City, while not a goofy game wasn't meant to be taken too seriously, so Vercetti's...less than likable personality actually works, but Kratos was meant to be a sympathetic anti hero. That might explain why I felt the way I did with regards to both characters.

@leonkfox IDK, never played God of War, but Vercetti was likable for me. He was a tough but clever guy who managed to get things done.

@nerthos I got the Ultimate Trilogy Edition for God of War III so got all 3 games at once, beat the first and working on 2 and 3, it is a fun series but I find the story gets way more praise than it deserves, like I said Kratos is supposed to be an anti hero, but I just wanted him to kick the bucket in the most painful manner possible, he wasn't much better than some of the people he was seeking to destroy in those games.

@leonkfox I wasn't able to play PS games until a while ago, and since the last one is for PS3, I'm not going to play the first two becuase then I would get immersed in it.

@nerthos I honestly doubt you would, it's very hard to get immersed in, you're mostly playing for the combat and kickass cutscenes/quick time events the series has to offer.

@leonkfox I get immersed in anything, but, since it sounds pretty lineal, probably I would just beat one game in three days xD

@nerthos I'm embarassed to say that I've had the entire trilogy since March 2010, but I've only beaten the original. ^^; Think I got stuck on II and III, and my PS3 dieing midway through 2011 didn't help matters.

@yodelerty When you start, he was just released from prison. He went to prison because he was getting too important from his boss's viewpoint, so he sent him to kill a guy from a rival family. It was a trap, since the other guy knew it and hired ten bodyguards. Vercetti killed the 11 guys and then didn't resist when the police came.

@yodelerty You're really missing out if you've not played GTA IV IMO, though Vice City does come a very close second for me, my only niggle with it was the fact that YOU COULDN'T FRIGGIN' SWIM.

@yodelerty Agreed! I think I've played as him virtually every time I've ever played Mario Kart Wii, and bar for the odd race where I chose Mario the same applies for 7 as well. I don't use him so much in Super Smash Bros though, not very good as him in that game. ^^;

@ceruleanspark Gotta confess, I've never used Lucario when playing the game at least moderatley seriously, but Sonic I don't really like to use, he runs way too fast for such small fields (in terms of the space they cover horizontally) and his finishing move is completley broken.

@leonkfox Both Sonic and Lucario have moves that (for me at least) flow really well into one another, so it's easy for me to pull off lethal combos with them. (Sonic, especially). Lucario's "Extra-damage if you're heavily damaged" perk is also pretty useful, as I tend to live for a long time. Sonics final smash IS pretty broken, but the Landmasters are still the worst.

@leonkfox It cannot. The invulnerability period for new spawns is long enough to wait out the special. The landmaster, on the other hand, can pick up invulnerable players and fly them off the screen just as their shield period ends.

@yodelerty Hold up...Snake is broken? O.o I know Sonic is (because of the fact he can turn into Super Sonic) but that's the first time I've heard someone call Snake broken.

@leonkfox His side and up tilt attacks have huge hitboxes and big knockback. You can basically win the match by spamming them.

@leonkfox Nah. If you don't know how to utilize him then he won't be any good. Also, items kind of level the playing field. Anyone could win with them.
