  1. The blackberry playbook is now £170. If you want a designer chopping board, now's the time!

    1. @ceruleanspark A designer chopping board? I bet you're the sort that said the PS3 looked like a George Foreman grill as well :P

      1. @leonkfox I am saying the BB Playbook is worthless as a tablet.

        1. @ceruleanspark I dunno, I used one (a friend bought one) and rather liked it bar for the lack of decent app support, it certanily had a smoother tablet OS than any Android tablet I've ever used, and at 7 inches it's just the right size as well, I may well have bought one if it had 3G.

          1. @leonkfox Well, like I said. PC world is trying to dump their stock at £169 a time. So now is the time to get one if you want one, because I doubt RIM are gonna make more. Also, they're supposed to be getting support for android apps later in the year.

            1. @ceruleanspark That's not a bad price, actually! Thing is, I kind of wanted to replace my PS3 with the money I currently have, having had a YLOD'd PS3 since August or so.

              1. @leonkfox I already have the best Tablet on the market, and I'm holding out for a price drop on Sony's tablet S as a secondary, so I'm not really in the market. If I was, I'd consider it more seriously.

                1. @ceruleanspark I assume you mean the iPad? I would be more inclined to buy an iPad if a 7" variant were available, the way it is I find it too big to comfortably type on without resting it on a desk, at which point I may as well have a netbook.

                  1. @leonkfox I type one handed on my iPad all the time, even with my bulky keyboard dock attached. iOS5 also introduces a "Split" keyboard, designed to by used with your thumbs like a weird game controller. (It works surprisingly well)

                    1. @ceruleanspark I can't type one handed for the life of me unless it's on a smart phone screen, and even then going slowly. I wouldn't mind trying out that split keyboard though, I must admit.

        1. @shadowlight Yeah, I do...well, a YLOD'd PS3 anyway, may be replacing it today though. (After 6 months or so)
