@ceruleanspark Are we talking travellodges? Never been to any kind of expo so what do I expect? The one in London I would have gone with a mate but my real reason at the time for wanting to go was an alice cooper concert 15 minutes down the road that same night

@purplephish20 expo's are typically rather lively. This particular expo is based around Sci-fi and Anime, but it leans more toward the anime side. Great for meeting people and just hanging out.

@purplephish20 Yeah, a holiday inn. Guess they've not gotten around to the pre-con rate-hike yet. The expo is basically a giant markethall filled with people selling nerd-stuff. Manga, comics, videogames, anime, replica weapons, that sort of stuff. I got my pocketwatch at one.
