Let's see.... the next two episodes will be Applejack. After those, it'll be Rainbow Dash. Followed by a sort-of CMC episode.... Is Fluttershy getting the treatmeant Applejack got in Season 1?

@rd5678 Applejack is /still/ getting the treatment. The zapapple episode was about Applebloom and Granny Smith, the Rodeo One is an episode where she's LOST (aka Not there, though I could be proven wrong) and the Applecider one is about the whole family (going form the description)

@abigpony I think if you view the two seasons as a single unit, it all averages out.

@abigpony I was under the impression that they had all been written at the same time, which is why Faust getting fired prior to S2 didn't impact S2's writing.

@ceruleanspark Yeah, I think it was that before she left the team, they had finalized the storylines for the episodes or something with her.

@ceruleanspark I thought Faust stepped down, rather than getting fired? :S

@leonkfox Faust has referred to her departure as "Being ugly", and the way she talks about it makes it sound like a "Creative differences" thing.

@ceruleanspark Ah :/ Now I'm slightly concerned for Season 3 and onwards, I assumed she left on her own terms. If it was due to creative differences I suspect we'll be seeing some changes in Season 3...

@ceruleanspark o.o that's no good.. I'd like to know more.. Faust seems like a pretty opinionated individual judging by what I read from screenshots of her deviantart page.. Could her departure be related to her so-called defense of bronies?
