    1. !yorkshirebronies @mattus701 Holy crap, an actual cinema screen? :D If we could have a mare-athon... Just think of the possibilities!

      1. @klayking It would indeed be awesome, but the problem is that it is likely to cost rather a lot... probably more than the last meetup cost us (i believe collectively it was over £200 not including shirts

        1. @trister How many people did it take to spend that much though?

          1. @leonkfox there were 20 of us, there are likely to be somewhere between 20 and 25 in a future meetup, and if we eat at a restaurant again that's going to be close to £100 right there, I can imagine a cinema screen rental costing more than the remainder

            1. @trister Still, across 20 people I wouldn't say £200 was THAT bad, especially since it's not a weekly occurrence etc.

              1. @leonkfox no, it's not that bad, but the thing is that when you add in travel costs it can cost a single person something like £50ish for the day, and bear in mind some people don't have a steady source of disposable income. !yorkshirebronies can anyone remember if the meal cost was over £200 or just £100, it was a large amount but I have a nagging feeling it was more than I first thought

                1. @trister I guess so... :/ Still, I've heard of meet ups for various other things costing a LOT more money, probably with less people there as well for some of them.

                  1. @leonkfox oh yeah, I agree, if we can get more people to turn up then the costs will be proportionately lower. I'm more wondering how much it would cost each of us to rent out a screen like that for a few hours

                    1. @trister Well, I'd wager it won't be cheap, but like you mentioned with a larger group the cost for each individual will drop considerably.

        2. @trister Well, both bowling and the meal cost like £200 each if I remember correctly. Averaging £15 each for the meal and £11 for bowling, the whole day (excluding travel and shirts) cost us about £25 each, I am guessing. Time to see if function rooms / private cinemas can be had for a similar price. Remember kids, the more of us that go, the less we have to pay each!

          1. @klayking I'm not against using the function room, I'm just warning that it might be hard on the wallets of some of us, my total costs for the day were somewhere in the region of £66 what with my train tickets and a taxi home once I was back in Boro

            1. @trister @elscire !yorkshirebronies Right, I'll keep that in mind. What do you reckon the price limit per person should be? The lower the price the better. I'd be happy personally if I could find something for £20 or less each, but some people may want to spend less, which is understandable.
