      @sheen @cavatina @scribbs nothing else? I mean.. her character could have never have gotten any lines and the fandom would still have her as well as every other background pony. Why her specifically?

        @pony I guess just the 'derpy' eyes and generally cute character design helps her stick out.

        @pony Probably because INITIALLY she was an accidant. Like, her eyes werent even meant to be like that. The animators then became aware of the fandom, but her eyes never went back to normal...i think that was it really. She was an "accident", but she stuck around.
