@scarves You can't compare intelligence between animals of different species, since the brain is organic electronics. Is the same as doing a comparison between a radio and a electric hammer, they're completely different. You can, though, compare between members of similar species, since they basically work the same way.

@scarves As someone living with two mentally disabled people (one severly disabled), I'd like to say that they, too, are capable of rational thought. Just thought I'd mention.

@redenchilada Are they offended by Derpy?

@sebastian1314 Neither are into ponies. However, both enjoy Ed, Edd n Eddy, and Ed's antics in particular.

@redenchilada Can you show them the clip, and ask them what they think? (Tell them the context of course. Like who Derpy is and the such).

@sebastian1314 One isn't willing to watch ponies, and the other is _severely_ mentally disabled, such to the point where he doesn't get offended by anything.

@redenchilada *facehoof* well that sucks. Oh well. (About him refusing to watch it)

@scarves @yuri You both have very good points. The learning factor is probably what makes this whole thing difficult. Vanilla brains of the same or multiple species could be easily compared, but differences in experience and knowledge betweem individuals make all of this really hard.
