      1. @cavatina This is a 3rd party app. It seems to work better/be more flexible than the stock voice recogniser.

        1. @ceruleanspark Ah, didnt know it came with one tbh.

          1. @cavatina It's like the least discoverable thing, but it's there. You need to hold down the search key.

            1. @ceruleanspark It actually the Start button you need to hold down. But I never use voice recognition software anyway

              1. @scribbs Goes to show how often I use it. I WOULD use voice recognition all the time to reply to texts and emails whilst I drive, if it was a little more reliable.

                1. @ceruleanspark There's that, and I always feel awkward saying things. That, and I tend to mumble when I talk sometimes.

                  1. @scribbs Everyone mumbles when they are talking to a glorified piece of glass. XD <3

            2. @ceruleanspark @scribbs doesnt matter what button it is shori~ <3 and...yeah that sounds obscure. XD. You'd only think of that if you came from a iPhone 4S xD

              1. @cavatina and then you'd be bitterly disappointed because Siri is better than it in every conceivable way

                1. @ceruleanspark Except that its siri. thats an issue. XD

                  1. @cavatina Regardless of your feelings about apple, Siri is pretty amazing.

                    1. @ceruleanspark This isnt anything to do with apple, i'll approve of Siri when i actually see people using it successfully in front of me, on the fly XD

                      1. @cavatina I've used siri effectively in a crowded, noisy apple store. Also, am I the only one who holds my phone as if I'm making a phone call when I'm using voice commands?

Saturday, 03-Mar-12 12:59:17 UTC from web
                        1. @ceruleanspark I've used it successfuly too. But i've never seen anyone else do it right XD and thats...kinda odd XD...i think

                          1. @cavatina Well I'm /talking to my phone/! Putting the mic next to my mouth seems like the most logical thing to do!

                            1. @ceruleanspark Even when they perfect voice recognition technology, I'm still going to use traditional means of typing, purely because I feel odd talking to inanimate objects.

                              1. @leonkfox I only use voice recognition to utter names when calling people, easier to say it than type it for me

                                    1. @cavatina No, you're in my phone book as Katy. It spells it either Katie, Catty, or KT, and of course, can't find you.
