  1. so guys, I've finally gotten a half-decent looking sketch of my OC, but I am unsure whether to attempt to give it colour or leave it as-is...

    1. @trister Make a copy, then colour it

      1. @nerthos yeah, I could... copies don't work quite as well, but then it is just a test...

        1. @trister Well, if you like how the colour fits, you çcan then colour the original one with more detail and precision xD

        2. @trister I often make a copy at each stage.. sketch> copy> ink/vector> copy> color

    2. @trister I made my pony on the create a pony then sketched it, it really gives you a feel on the color you'd be satisfied with, when I sketched my OC i left it uncolored, but you can do whatever feels right for you, but all in all I think you should leave it blank until you really decide if you want to color it, because i am the worst color-er but a pretty good drawer, but that's just my opinion on it.

      1. @bronyalex I have messed around with the pony creator... still need to settle on colours though

        1. @trister Ah yes took me some time as well, but I settled on a grayish red color, but do whatever suits you, until you find that certain color of interest my friend.

    3. @trister Why not scan it and colour in the extra copy?

      1. @leonkfox @nerthos why must you use simple logic? It works but... meh

Monday, 05-Mar-12 00:22:42 UTC from web
        1. @trister Because simple logic is best logic... well, complicated one is far more interesting, but don't work as well.

          1. @nerthos logic will always work if it's used right. but... still

            1. @trister If it's complex enough, it can confuse the guy trying to understand it xD

              1. @nerthos the logic is fine, it's the person that's the problem in that case

Monday, 05-Mar-12 00:27:29 UTC from web
                1. @trister Yup. But the human element can always ruin things xD

                  1. @nerthos well the same can be said for practically anything. I don't plan on trying any kind of logic with those who can't see reason, so I don't factor it into my calculations. If we have to worry about every possible human element then nothing would ever work. At the end of the day there's always at least one person out there who can mess up anything done by anyone

      2. @leonkfox didn't you go to bed a while ago? or am I not paying attention?

        1. @trister Woke up x.x

          1. @leonkfox ah, well that's no fun. Though if I may say I don't think staring at a screen will help, reading is a much better exercise in such a situation
