@scribbs I'd honestly say Paint.net isnt...Just because its wayyy too limited. Its an upgrade to Paint, hence its name (its the real reason for its name X3), GIMP is the way to go for a free image editor @zimzap, but Paint.net is a good step up from Paint to get your feet wet, but dont depend on it. Paint.Net's only real use in the world it seems is minecraft texture packs/pixel art o3o

@zimzap Paint.NET is amazing, when compared to MSPaint. But, it really doesn't have any layer styles or text styling options etc, which is the standard for image editing now-adays. XD But it's amazing for pixel art.
