    2. @techdisk42 A lot like Derpy, if I recognize the base you worked off of.

      1. @greatandpowerfuleaglehooves heh, is it really that obvious?

Thursday, 22-Mar-12 03:49:31 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
        1. @techdisk42 It's the eye on the far side.

Thursday, 22-Mar-12 03:50:19 UTC from web
          1. @greatandpowerfuleaglehooves ah, well, I am a bit derpy anyway, and I couldn't edit out the eye without making it look weird, so I just underped the close up one and fixed up the far one so as not to be too derp

      2. @greatandpowerfuleaglehooves TBH I did use a derpy template, but only the outline, the colors are my own

        1. @techdisk42 I did the same at one point (I made a set of really low grade desktop ponies for the Bronies I know in real life's OCs. They're all palate swaps, but it was more for lulz than anything, and I never intended to distribute them beyond the ponies in it). I still need to go back and fix the darn eye. http://ur1.ca/8rdic

          2. @greatandpowerfuleaglehooves besides, I like having the two eyes, it makes Tech look like he's not just staring straight forward.

          3. @greatandpowerfuleaglehooves looks pretty good for a pallet swap!

            1. @techdisk42 Thanks! I'm still a little annoyed that I'm a mere. ...Meh. Not enough be bothered to fix it (Pegasi have a ton of frames).

              1. @greatandpowerfuleaglehooves What'd you edit it with?

Thursday, 22-Mar-12 04:00:41 UTC from web
                1. @minti GIMP. Tedious, but effective.

                  1. @greatandpowerfuleaglehooves TEDIOUS BUTT. . . nah, that doesn't work... :p

              2. @greatandpowerfuleaglehooves das why I used paint.net and only one frame :) I also changed the head so it's a bit more colt.

                1. @techdisk42 I've heard good things about that. How's it stack up to GIMP and Photoshop feature wise?

Thursday, 22-Mar-12 04:05:42 UTC from web
                  1. @greatandpowerfuleaglehooves It doesn't.

                  2. @greatandpowerfuleaglehooves never used Photoshop cause if its better than paint.net I would have withdrawal after the trial ran out, and GIMP... I really should try... Paint.net i like mainly because it allows me to pixel art properly after they made ms paint crappy and antialiasy. It's magic wand feature is also pretty cool. And it's free

                    1. @techdisk42 I use to love Paint.NET. I use Photoshop now. Lol. Some of the stuff you can make with it is nuts.

Thursday, 22-Mar-12 04:11:26 UTC from web
                      1. @minti if Photoshop was free, I'd allow myself to use it. Since it's a lot of money, nope. Yeah I could get a cracked copy, but Paint.net does it's job!

Thursday, 22-Mar-12 04:14:24 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
                    2. @techdisk42 I might just have to try it. I have developed a bad habit of installing ALL the things anyways. I haven't gotten around to trying it, but I've heard Photoshop is the gold standard. Someone I know with an SLR who takes a crazy amount of photos has been using Photoshop Elements as her go-to software for years, and the results are pretty good.

                      1. @greatandpowerfuleaglehooves And Photoshop elements is a piece of crap watered down version.

                      2. @greatandpowerfuleaglehooves I gigot recommend it! Once I got windows 7 and opened up paint for some pixeling and expecting the simple paint that hasn't changed since win 98, i was enraged at the antialiasing the new windows 7 paint automatically puts in. So, I immidately went and got something better. So, paint.net.

                        1. @techdisk42 Yeah, I think I'm about to downgrade it to the XP version. There's always a way xD

                          1. @nerthos the vista version is the good old one as well, it might be easier to go to that

Thursday, 22-Mar-12 04:21:27 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
                            1. @techdisk42 I'm pretty sure I'm going to find a standalone old Paint somewhere xD it doesn't matter if it's 98, 2000, XP or vista :D

Thursday, 22-Mar-12 04:22:41 UTC from web
                              1. @nerthos try paint.net! It's a great paint replacement as I've said before, and it has a lot more features! And it's free!

Thursday, 22-Mar-12 04:24:20 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
                                1. @techdisk42 Silly pony, evrything is free for me!

                        2. @techdisk42 I've actually got a copy of CS5.5. I just like trying new things, don't really have need of it much.
