                  @yodelerty No actually, it's the money of the internet, and it can literally be made by just running your computer, then it can either be traded in for actual dollars or other currencies or spent online. (it's also what's used in the black market)

                      @yodelerty I'm being totally serious for once, I just found out about it and it's really got me hooked, I calculated with a couple friends at school today that if we got all our 8 computers running together on a single account we could make ~$14,000 a year just for keeping them on 24/7

                              @greatandpowerfuleaglehooves I do believe there are ways to run it on Linux, never actually done it though, I'm still just setting it up on Windows. Check out www.deepbit.com, you should be able to find what you need through that
