  1. If bronies are starting all these charities and stuff to do good, why don't they help the record companies and go out and buy CDs or something. The fact that physical music is becoming obsolete is really disappointing.

    2. @policeman Also in a lot of ways, the demise of physical media is bad news for people who're fans of actual, high quality audio.

    4. @ponydude I bought the Protomen's albums on iTunes, but once physical releases became accessible, I purchased those and ripped them to the highest spec playable by my Zune. Admittedly, the Protomen also make a production of their physical releases to make them worth buying ANYWAY, but the enhanced audio quality was my main motive.

    5. @ponydude I won't say I don't pirate, because that would be a lie, but when I genuinely enjoy an artists music and find myself listening to it frequently, I buy it. I tend to aggressively delete stuff I don't listen to anyway. This has given me a high ratio of legit:stolen content over time, even though the primary driver for my music discovery is piracy.
