@extremedash @critialcloudkicker not bad now, the morning was less than great though. there was a big storm here that made the power blink and it fried my network card.

@devolution ... how can an electrical storm fry your network card ? well I know how, its just that I am amazed you havent made a protection against the possibility of that happening. I did that because once lightning gets in your network card there is a huge possibility of it frying other components aswell :o

@critialcloudkicker oh i have a rather large and expensive surge protector, it just didn't seem to help. there's really no rhyme or reason for it dying, it's just dead now, and it wasn't before the power blinked :\ @extremedash it will be in the long run, since it was the onboard LAN that fried. hopefully i can just RMA it and get it replaced, but if i can't, then it's time for a new motherboard.
