@gpupraxis Essentially, he consistently allows me to hang out with him and his friends when opportunity arises, and I don't have to go off and find my own place to be when we're interested in the same things.

@scribus Yeah... I've got my heritage tatts all planned EXCEPT for the German one. How can I tattoo something recognizablely German that isn't also associated with horribleness? And not the cool sort of horribleness

@missloki Bah, "history is written by the winners" should tell enough about all that. Even if they were kind of bad in some things, they managed to wage war aganist half the "first world" and get the winning hand for years. I have German heritage, and I'm proud of every bit of it.

@nerthos I'm not "not proud" of the German part of me. I just don't want to deal with the BS from trying to overtly associate with it, largely do to Naziism. Also, srsly, Chaplin had that #moustache first, damnit!
