  1. Hey linux users! Ive installed Ubuntu before, but u can't decide on how much space to give it on it's partition. I'm gonna dual boot win 7 and Linux. The hard drive's full size is 740 GB.

      1. @scribus not too much, but it will be used. I'm thinking around 250 GB. may be a bit large, but windows doesn't need 700 GB.

        1. @techdisk42 Alternately, you could set up a partition for files and share it between Windows and Ubuntu. Though, that still doesn't answer how much to give to Ubuntu. # :p

    3. @jla lol, thats not very large! Well, Linux doesn't need too much anyway. I'll still give it at least 200 gb, just because. If I need the space, I can always resize!
