@cakewalk Yep :) it rocks with its Plasma screen, 20mhz 386, and its 4mb of ram, oh and it has the ESDI hard drive... I recently upgraded mine to windows 311 for work groups... If i ever find the modem i want to get it "online"

@nlghtmaremoon That's truly incredible :D My Compaq III is similar but is only a 286. 20 MB HDD woo! xD Getting that thing working with a modem would be epic awesome. There's something magical about these old machines.

@cakewalk i love old tech. It's just so fascinating. Looking inside an old computer is cool because it was made before they figured out how to streamline things to be small, and you can see all the components in a big mess.

@techdisk42 Agreed. I used to take apart old computers my dad had as a kid and could spend hours just looking at everything. Too bad nowadays putting together a computer just gives me a headache xD

@cakewalk I've always been a hardware guy. I can take apart any computer, laptop, desktop, you name it, clean it, tell what each and every part does, and put it togethe in perfect working order. I love it.

@techdisk42 Nice :) I guess I just have very little patience with tech these days. Doesn't help that my computers are constantly filling with dust that I inhale when working in them, blegh x_X

@cakewalk das why I always have a small vacuum with me when I work! Lol vacuum is probably not the best, but I don't have access to compressed air for this purpose.

@cakewalk them Compaq's weren't the smallest things in the world... Humm that reminds me, I think I have a sound blaster external modem around this place... I'm sure i can find the windows 3.1 drivers... good thing i have my USB floppy drive :) I want to see Google in windows 3.11

@ponydude lol i dunno, if 3.1 has any sort of web browser it should connect. Maybe if you use a DOS powered statusnet application? That way you could at least connect and post stuff.
