@purplephish20 Me and Scoot actively recoiled. I'm all for cosplay but he could have made some attempt to conceal precisely how much he was enjoying parading around like that in public.

@ceruleanspark Incidentally, that was the turning point where, having not at that point seen a full episode, I almost ended up not becoming a brony, out of horror at part of the fandom. Luckily, I realized that it was only a small part of the community, in much the same way weird troll cosplayers (also in full effect at that con) are only a small fraction of Homestuck fandom, that being the fandom responsible for me being at that con.

@ceruleanspark Yes to the first part, no to the second. I did try to locate the Homestuck meetup, but failed miserably at understanding simple directions.

@bitshift You were minutes away from meeting me. Me and Scoot spent a lot of time with the homestuck people because we found them amusing.

@ceruleanspark Yeah, that's probably what I'll end up doing. Locating correctly-shaped shades might be a little trickier, but I figure they can't be that hard to get.
