Random MLP Question of the Week. I know that ponies like Rarity make money by making dresses, but what about other ponies like Pinkie Pie who always throws parties and Rainbow Dash who just hangs around being awesome? How do ponies like them get any money?

@dustination Pinkie Pie works at Sugarcube Corner, and Rainbow Dash is on the Weather Patrol.

@ceruleanspark Well, forgot about Dash's weather patrol. But we still have Fluttershy who just takes care of animals for no charge and Twilight Sparkle who just studies all the time...

@dustination ...but Fluttershy is not really explained, I'll grant that. However, she has been known to take care of the pets of the other mane cast... maybe she's a kind of hired pet-sitter?

@dustination I think Twilight either gets paid for her librarian work, or recieves living expenses from Celestia as compensation for sending her out there in the first place. Fluttershy probably has a little garden she sells produce from or something. Or maybe the animals bring her food to pay for her vet work, and she sells the excess.
