@greydragon412 Yes, it is inconveniencing, but it is like going to dinner with a dozen of your friends who all just saw a movie together, and assuming that none of them will make any slip or reference to what they just saw.

@eaglehooves Slipping is one thing, but arguing that you should've expected a spoiler, rather than apologising if the slip bothers someone, strikes me as a little rude. And once again, you seem to be assuming that people have "just not doing stuff with those friends" as an acceptable option (which is certainly not true for me at least).

@bitshift They definitely should apologize, but you are going into a scenario where a slip of some degree is all but guaranteed, then acting surprised when it does. That's what this started from. You don't have to stop doing things with those friends, but you do have to know that humans aren't 100% perfect when it comes to things like this, and not flip when they make a mistake.

@eaglehooves http://rainbowdash.net/notice/1254284 is flipping? Just looks like playfully berating to me (there's even a little tilde at the end). And that's the earliest that @greydragon412 mentioned anything about @twispark missing tagging, he only noticeably "flipped" when @twispark seemed to be trying to defend not tagging/encoding.

@twispark No, I'm pretty sure you did already apologise. You were just unfortunate enough to be the person whose mistake started this whole catastrophe, but it could just as easily have been someone else if you hadn't.

@eaglehooves Definitely. I can agree on that, I just think taking specifically @greydragon412 to task for that (which is what _seemed_ to be happening, at least at first) wasn't the right approach to clearing that general foul mood.
