Ooh are we discussing games? I've been a total nerd for video games since I was little, I guess you could say I inherented my mums NES and Game Gear like they were royalty or something. I played those as early as age 3, and as time went on they occupied a lot of my free time, went onto get the N64, SNES, Game Boy.. And everything went from there. I'm more of an old school gamer, though I like some 00's consoles (I bloody love my Gamecube and everything else from that generation). I'm not a stubborn olde gamer though, I do like some modern stuff; Left 4 Dead, Fable, Hearts of Iron, considering getting into Fallout... I just don't find myself appreciating the modern generation as much as I did the NES-Atari era to the PS2/Xbox/Gamecube era. Relatively smaller libraries.

@carcinopony The first game I really remember playing was Sonic 2 on the Game Gear. And I played that game better then than I do now :/ I can't even beat the first boss anymore

@magicrussia oh man I had that on my Genesis. I would always cheat with the second controller and made Tails do everything.

@magicrussia I know exactly what your talking about! I really haven't loved any console as much as my N64 which I still play I just feel like a lot of games now are missing the originality of games on like the N64 and game cube and stuff I still play modern games the a lot its just I have only played a few games in the past 5 years that I have absolutely loved

@extremedash Yeah, maybe its just me getting older, but I feel like the game industry has been in a state of deteriation. Sure, once in awhile theres some gems, but I feel like the game industry, like music and so many other forms of entertainment have been exploited by big business and many of the artists care more about money than the quality of what they're actually making. It's a shame.

@magicrussia god. That is so incredibly spot on. I love TES and the recent Fallout games and really anything by Valve and Rockstar but that's about it. Everything you said though was so true.

@extremedash Valve and Rockstar are both gewd. I'm a L4D fan. Disappointed that no 3 was announced :c but yeah, nowadays you can make pretty much the same game over and over again and keep profiting. See the Madden Football series.

@magicrussia Football! But look more at the CoD series it has not changed one bit and it still makes billions each year and I love L4D but you know Valve they never make 3 of anything they always stop at 2... Just think about it lol
