@rotation @greydragon412 @scribble One (the first to arrive) came straight to us thinking we were the furry meetup, we explained things, within 15 minutes our numbers were equal. we got a couple brohoofs out of them, but 2 of them seemed to just give us all the death-stare and decided to stand 10 meters in the other direction after we explained who we were

@hakupony I also dont understand the hatred going back the other way either, on the base of it we are all into abnormal stuff. Being in both fandoms i know this to be the case...

@greydragon412 I agree - the furry fandom is not inherently sexual. of course, there is sexual art as there is for every fandom - and MLP is indeed no exception.

@greydragon412 Well the hatred toward furs has been around a lot longer and there's nothing unique about it from bronies, except perhaps that there is much less of it (this is perhaps helped by many of the big names either being furs themselves or coming from a background of hanging out with them).

@toksyuryel But it is even more unlogical if the hatred comes from a fan of anthromorpic ponies. Tis kind of is what the Furry Fandom is about as well.

@hakupony Yeah that's bizarre, but it largely stems from them just not knowing that that's what furry is about. Most people think furry is some kind of sexual fetish. And furs themselves are so divided and just as likely to troll eachother that it becomes next to impossible to actually get any real facts out there. It's all just a big mess.
