@ceruleanspark I know. As much as I love apple for their designs (mainly their OS), I love practicality even more. Hence why I used to own a toughbook.

@renovatedkitchen If you're having battery issues, you could get one of those battery slipcases, like the mophie juicepack or whatever.

@ceruleanspark Apparently WD came out with some kind of battery pack you can plug things into via USB. Cousin got one for free at (think it was) Con Bravo. Apparently it works very well.

@flaredancer Eyeup. Oh, forgot to mention. the plane the Texas Rangers came on was massive, a 767. Very high up (I hate heights). Then I was getting something from the top of the portable stairs (Sorta like stairs on a pickup truck, but built for airports), and someone started driving it. Almost fell off. And the guy wasnt driving it calmly either. Oh, my jimmies, my jimmies.

@flaredancer lol. I find a lot of places are like that. Even at lowes, I will get scolded for riding on a shopping cart, but if I'm standing on a shelf 4m high with no harness or anything, it's overlooked. Like, really.

@renovatedkitchen Yeah, at my work, I'll get sent home for wearing the wrong shoes, but they allowed the press guys to go up on the roof of the warehouse to try to clean out jammed trash compactor (which actually ended when a guy falling through a skylight)

@flaredancer that's cool. Safety is a good thing really. But sometimes I have trouble following it. Sometimes I think I should be a monkey. Well, I did skid one of the vehicles today. I was making a sharp turn while flooring it. Could hear and feel the wheels jumping sideways.

@flaredancer not really. It's like I calculate the risks of the situation. If they are there, I don't do that thing. The vehicle I used is near impossible to flip and I was nowhere near a plane, building or other person. If there is a variable for disaster, I won't do what I was thinking. Even if a bunch of other people manage to do it safely.
