@dudeinboots I'm not especially well-read in fan fiction, but my favorite shipping fic is the Combinatorics project. It's almost exclusively female/female relationship oriented, but it's very touching and well written. Another one I really enjoyed was Beating the Heat. It's mostly male/female, but it's more risque'/suggestive so you should be aware of that.
