@carcino I never understood why everyone is obsessed by bust size. Well, in fact, it's particularly appealing to most due to a genetic predisposition, to make reproduction easier. But people who doesn't want kids, it just makes no sense. Big ones are only a burden for most things.

@carcino You need lots of fasteners and weird articulations to make it wearable and protective. You can make an one piece chestplate, but it's not something a woman can wear for a long time without pain; and an articulated one is really weird. I hope I never have to build one.

@carcino Yeah. It provides enough protection with barely any movement restriction. I'm a fan of full plate armour, but it only works for face to face combat.

@nerthos Yeah that's not the reason. He tried to move all static non-changing files to a new subdomain to allow the page to load faster. It works perfectly, it just broke all existing links to the files though.

@carcino I'll post pics once it's finished. Some pieces will look a bit like the Skyrim's Ebony armour, since I find some of it's designs to be particularly effective, mostly in the front chestpiece and half the boots.

@nerthos If you want them to work, you must be rather careful at the plates arount the fingers - I know people who had to goto hospital because their armour gloves were bad.

@hakupony Yeah. The plates aren't linked together, I'm going to mount them on leather gloves. Linking the finger plates could cause two to suddenly jam, and I would end with a broken/hurt finger.

@nerthos That would mean the plates would nearly connect with the finger and they would not be able to dispense the pressure from a strike. If you intent of using this armour in anything harder as LARP, that could be dangerous. If you just do it to own a cool armour, the idea is fine though - just use good leather.

@hakupony Yeah, they're not supposed to whitstand heavy damage, but to protect aganist cuts. For the hard hits I'll use a shield and the guard of the sword. I lack the equipment to make proper armored gauntlets right now.

@carcino She's pretty much like me without restrictions or diplomacy. If she wants something, she uses her abilities to get it. It doesn't matter what happens after that, or who's destroyed on the process. She has what she wants in her hands. I would love to be able to do that, but we can't both run free, one needs to keep things in check.
