@noirbatch There have been a dozen people on here who have. Jackle App or Mic admitted they did, but I forgot which one. i have heard of dozens upon dozens of cases from all over the fandom of it happening. it's wacko, yo.

@actualcannibalabigpony @noirbatch I guess for those who do turn gay it's probably due in part to their experience with feeling so accepted by other guys about something effeminate, nonconventional, and that stirs so many emotions in us as fans. I know I've felt touched by the closeness of the community here at RDN before and though that maybe sharing somebrony's embrace irl wouldn't be so bad

@pony I think it's because alot of the fandom is antisocial and not accepted by most people for several reasons (be it looks, personality, etc.) and they find that the rest of the fandom is like them and they become attached to the only people that WILL accept them and they they realize those are guys and they are also spaghetti-spillers like them but they still cling to their only friendships and eventually want to take it to the next level and are stuck with only guys since either the large majority is or the girls that they HAVE met inthe fandom have been scared off by their creepiness.

@actualcannibalabigpony #latereply I think this is the case for a good number. I personally know one couple that ended up this way at least. I think overall, of course, it's probably a combination of many different things and will be different depending on the individual
