    3. @thatonepony I'll forever think that page is just a bunch of trolls of epic proportions who rallied together to laugh their asses off.

                1. @scribus Yes! I would very much like to make more dinner tonight. Breakfast was lackluster.

                    1. @scribus Chocolate milk from a box and this weird Apple Sauce packet.

                      1. @carcino Oh. Would calling it "astronaut breakfast" make it any more lame? I mean less? No, wait - more.

                        1. @scribus Yeah, it was kinda like astronaut food.

                          1. @carcino That really doesn't help any.

                            1. @scribus It didn't make it taste any better, no.

                              1. @carcino That is unfortunate, but predictable.

                                1. @scribus There was Jell-o too but I didn't have time for it.

                                  1. @carcino But I bet you had room. There's always room for outdated marketing catchphrases.

    7. @thatonepony The same way we people set a forum to RP about dragons and knights, they set a forum to roleplay about obsolete ideas and satan.

Thursday, 10-May-12 14:57:53 UTC from web
      1. @nerthos I like to combine both of them and play people with strange religions in fantasy RPGs :-)

Thursday, 10-May-12 15:00:18 UTC from web
        1. @hakupony Yeah xD "I can't help you, good sir; for my religion is very strict in regards to gathering potatoes"

Thursday, 10-May-12 15:01:19 UTC from web
          1. @nerthos It's even more fun if you can argue for everything to sound valid. Convincing magicians that magic is inherently evil and then always reminding them that they agreed :)

Thursday, 10-May-12 15:05:05 UTC from web
            1. @hakupony Yup. Someday I have to RP a ridicule character. So far all the religious characters I played were serious, since their gods answered xD

Thursday, 10-May-12 15:09:13 UTC from web
              1. @nerthos I had a player whose character was "monopolytheistic." :p It was actually a play on his worshiping all of the gods equally and like as one pantheon or something, so it was mono- + poly- theistic more than board-game-religious, but still. Actually, wait, no, that played out kind of seriously, too.

Thursday, 10-May-12 15:11:18 UTC from web
                1. @scribus That happened many times in real life, and works very well in RPGs.

Thursday, 10-May-12 15:13:51 UTC from web
                2. @scribus For me, the fun is to play a character who is seriously convinced in some rather silly believes - and I also like bending truth to make this believe plausible.

Thursday, 10-May-12 15:15:01 UTC from web
                  1. @hakupony I like playing all sorts of diverse characters. I don't really have any one thing I like to do (except maybe go a bit out of my way to use a d12 once in a while).
