  1. Any techie pony out there ? I kind of want to know what a good bid would be on an old I7 ( spec/type unknown ) including scythe katana like cooler and a motherboard inside a mid or hightower PC... Pretty much all I would miss are the PSU, Hard drives, and graphical card. Apearently it hums quite a bit and is quite dusty. I can see it in working condition if I want to. But it has been gathering dust since 2009 pretty much.

          1. @jamster Well for that money I would be able to buy a brand new i5-4670K with motherboard and PSU ... ... Oh wait, did I mention that i7 was without RAM ?

            1. @critialcloudkicker Oh in that case about £550 - £600.

              1. @jamster ... Well, even with that pricetag it is still more alluring to buy new components alltogether, so I can staple my old computer back together. Since new components only add to... i5-4670K ( 210 Eur ), Fractal Design Define R4 ( 90 Eur ), Cooler Master V550s ( 90 Eur ). Oh might as well throw in an SSD I always wanted, Samsung 840 EVO ( 160 or 90 Eur depending on the size ) ... That would total 550 Euro only ( 455 pound )

    2. @vt3c 130 Eur ( 180 USD ) sound WAY more like what it might be worth it to me. I am not even sure what kind of I7's they had back in 2009

    3. @vt3c Sort of, yes, it is being occupied by my E8400 right now. My spare-pc, the only one that works... Well if you do not count that I5-4670K R9 270X powered bease I am trying to get ready for use by my little brother...

    4. @vt3c I know, I bought it for him pretty much, but then my own PC blew up
