  1. Apparently someone regularly uploads my art to derpibooru... even the incredibly crappy ones and the awful sketches. Not sure if I should be elated or embarrassed. LOL It is nice to see some of the comments, though. ^^

    1. @mintystarshine Getting comments at all is pretty nice. xD

      1. @neuraria Yeah I don't get very many comments anyway but they are nice to see when I do get them. :3

    2. @mintystarshine That makes me worry if my art appears on Derpibooru ever, and if people link back to me. I doubt it, though.

      1. @clayinthecarpet They're actually quite good at tagging that artist's name and linking back to the source. It's the only reason why I don't mind at all. Plus, most of my works have my watermark on them which give my deviantart, so it's not likely that my work would go uncredited. Forums, on the other hand, hardly ever source anything, which is why I started watermarking things with my deviantart address.

        1. @mintystarshine Ah. Yeah, I get that...I can't watermark my works, though, as it would destroy the visual quality of the image. DA marks are always right in the middle, so grrr.

          1. @clayinthecarpet Signing it in the corner somewhere is pretty easy and doesn't mess with the composition of the image

            1. @redenchilada I always sign my works by hand, if that's what you mean.

          2. @clayinthecarpet Yeah dA watermarks are very gross looking, IMO. All I did was create a file with my signature and then text with my deviantart address. Every time I finish something, I just paste it on and make sure it isn't too obtrusive but also so people can't crop it out without cropping out something else too.

            1. @mintystarshine I know what you mean. I COULD do that in Photoshop, but I just...Like, I don't want to. My art's not the type that's going to get spread around as often as the vectors and digital work that's out there. I just want my signature to be very present because I own almost all of the physical drawings i've ever created and can easily prove they're mine.

              1. @clayinthecarpet I understand that. I also see that you work with sculptures and those are pretty awesome! I've never been able to get the hang of sculptures at all.

                1. @mintystarshine Thank you. :3 Sculpture is what I focused on long before I got into Pony. There's just something about making a 3D product that totally eclipses digital (except Zbrush) and drawn media for me.

          1. @clayinthecarpet Most things in the fandom get posted to Derpibooru by someone. Unfortunately for me, about half the stuff under my artist tag is old ugly stuff :c

            1. @redenchilada That's crazy. I had no idea that even happened with such frequency.

              1. @clayinthecarpet It's one of the reasons I track my own artist tag on Derpibooru. And also used to stalk the same tag on Ponibooru, when that was a thing.

                1. @redenchilada I'm going to have to remember to do that now. I'm utterly surprised that it appeared there at all.

                2. @redenchilada No wonder I got so much traffic on those images.
