I am scared of how people think of female characters

@nerthos Either way. Let's say I, some time down the road, decide to go through the gender reassignment stuff. Most of the time I would probably fear for my life around those people. Women aren't toys for one's enjoyment. For that matter neither are guys, but you don't often see females openly perving on male characters or saying "what the dole why doesn't he have bigger junk" because the vocal minority are terrible and misogynistic.

@neuraria I think the female equivelant of "Why doesn't he have bigger junk" is constant, in some cases alarmingly aggressive, gay-shipping.

@neuraria The vocal minority of the other side is terrible and misandrystic too so there's not much difference, and girls DO go crazy on male characters, as much as guys do, people just tend to flock more to sites with a male majority so it goes kind of unnoticed. The reality is there's kiwity humans on both sides and going through surgery will not change your chances of being attacked much. If you do get attacked chances are it'll be a robbery and not a hate crime. In today's world people have to be wary of danger regardless of gender, and your best bet is to take some self defence classes that'll teach you how to avoid dangerous situations and get away or defend yourself if you ever find yourself in one.

@nerthos Mmm. I know representation on the internet is pretty much irrelevant, but I guess it just makes me worry. For the most part I haven't seen much here in Australia, so I would probably be alright, but that might just be because I've only seen it from my own angle.
I was looking at the video from this Reddit post http://pny.lv/c20 (#nsfw, #nudity) and I feel like one of the few people who thought it was interesting without bringing sex or whatever into it. -

@neuraria I may watch the video later. Bottom line is, you're worrying too much over things you can't change, and you would probably be safer and feel better if you learned how to deal with the situations you fear.
