@vt3c You are wise, my friend.

@vt3c I'm gonna go smoke pot now.
-
@vt3c I'm pretty sure you at least get a citation if you have less than an ounce or whatever, right? Like, a ticket
-
@vt3c source: http://pny.lv/d4h maybe the cop was just cutting your friend a break?
-
@vt3c "The state has decriminalized marijuana to some degree. Typically, decriminalization means no prison time or criminal record for first-time possession of a small amount for personal consumption. The conduct is treated like a minor traffic violation."
-
@vt3c MI=Michigan. MO is Missouri. But Michigan isn't very kind either
-
@rarity I like how drug distribution is apparently less serious than possession.
-
@mrmattimation 'Murica.
-
@mrmattimation I think it's dependent on the amount distributed. Like, if you have in possession a bajillion tons of pot, it's pretty obvious you're a part of a HUGE operation.
-
@rarity Says here that any amount gets you 30 days for your first offense, 12 months for any subsequent offenses.
-
@mrmattimation What's really sad is that your and my states are probably going to be the very, very last to enact any legalization of marijuana. The dumb south is dumb.
-
@clayinthecarpet Between you and me, in this town, we really don't need legalization. Pot is slung around all the time, and as long as you keep out of people's faces with that murdock, nobody really does anything about it.
-
@mrmattimation That's pretty much how it is everywhere now. Nobody cares. Most people just consider it none of their business.
-
@mrmattimation Unless, of course, you come to school high off your ass. Which nine kids at my middle school did. All on the same day. They wouldn't have gotten caught, either, if one of them hadn't gone on Facebook and started bragging about how high they were during school hours.
-
@mrmattimation lawl. I knew tons of people who came to high school while high, constantly. They just laid their heads on the desks and slept.
-
@nicklecat Have I mentioned that high school is not something I want to go back to, ever? Ever? Oh god that was awful.
-
@clayinthecarpet There was one kid who gets high frequently, but is smart enough not to get caught. During the whole incident (because of this incident, by the way, pot brownies are now called "Farmwell Brownies", named after my middle school), news crews came to the middle school to interview students. That kid thought it was his time to shine, so he gets up in the camera and starts talking about how stupid drugs are and how you shouldn't be doing that stuff, even though I'm like 95% sure he got high that afternoon.
-
@mrmattimation Amazing.
-
@vt3c High school is only fun if 1.) you learn stuff to help you in life, and 2.) if you're not bullied by literally everyone because you're different.
-
@vt3c Yeah well I graduated in 2004, before that huge "no bully" movement. I had open ketchup and mustard packets thrown at me, couldn't ever actually go to my locker so I carried every single book and thing that I needed in my backpack 24/7, was afraid to go to the bathroom, and literally had to change myself into the person I am now just to scare them all into worrying that I might bomb/shoot-up the school for them to back off.
-
@clayinthecarpet That method don't work no more. Mostly because now they expel you if they think you so much as touched a gun.
-
@mrmattimation Like I said, this was 2003/2004. Things were different, especially in my high school.
-
@vt3c Wanna know why I'm skinny, have long hair, wear all black, and argue a lot? That was what started it.
-
@vt3c haha. I don't deserve many, honestly. I turned myself into an awful, hateful person to combat the bullying around me. Finding MLP opened my eyes to a much larger world than I had been living in so far. Now I just kind of like to help people when I can, though I have "no tact" according to some people here. I'm still trying.
-
@vt3c Interesting. I was the fattest kid in my elementary school in 8th grade. I weighed around 250 and was only 12, and not very tall. I wore XXL shirts. Girls beat me up. I remember one time, I called some girl the b-word and she punched me square in the nose. I bled all over the place. I had random nosebleeds for years after that incident. My cousin and a friend tried to clean up the huge mass of blood from the gym before the teachers could see, but they were found out and I was sent home.
-
@vt3c Fun times. Things like that tend to change you internally...sometimes for the better, sometimes not. I am everything I am today by doing a 180 degree shift from who I was back then and scaring people into submission. There are still teachers and officials from that school today who think I'm a psychopath and are surprised to learn that I'm so nice and respectful. Bullying is the scummiest act one can do to somebody. However, I can't say I don't thank it for making me look and act badass today.
