Also I did a lot of talk about case study and how previous rulings of police going through your mail or your notes in your house even if they had a warrant to enter and search for you violated the 4th amendment because they did not have a warrant for your notes and regardless of if they are out and open with big DRUG SALES written on them can't be used as evidence unless they obtain a separate warrant for them.

@mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Ironically you're more protected in regards to things in the open when they have a warrant for you than when they don't.

@mylittlesistercantbethisincestual You usally dont get laws that that protect things until it impacts on the judges themselves SEE http://ur1.ca/ghtb0 1988 Video Privacy Protection Act.[30]

@vcgriffin That's not true though. There are plenty of cases where Judges ruled in favor of privacy. For example Griswold v. Connecticut. Also a federal oversight committee just ruled in favor of privacy too.

@mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Does the Federal oversight committee have any legal enforcement powers? My example Shows how fast things get done when people in power are theretend. Not to show that SCOUTS never rules in favor of privacy, though its usually against.

@vcgriffin the Federal Oversight Comittee is the Legislative branch and is one of the only ways that Congress can change legislation without a vote. They ruled to shut down the NSA's information collecting of phone and email messages entirely.

@mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Hmm, Interesting. I am begging to fear that its too much of a distributed network (between the five eye counties) to shut down, much like the internet itself. Nice to see the the Legislative having some bite though

@vcgriffin it's a 225 page document but I'll link you there opinion in a sec. If you want a brief summary you can skip to the conclusion and the Appendices which hold individual members opinions in about 1 page each.

@mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Though I agree with Cerulean (and don't all jump on me at once) they dont need to take your phone, they already have your data [Prism ect]. So If they did take your Phone / HD ect it would be way more targeted than it is now. Random border collection though, another matter
