Halp! i need a good statusnet client for Ubuntu :3

@cavatina Why the need for a client? I personally find the website to be the best way to browse RDN whilst on a PC. Heck, it is even on a phone now, thanks to @ceruleanspark and the mobile site.

@leonkfox Because i like some of the convenience of a client~. Same reason i use a twitter client, sometimes i dont want to have a browser open, or get notifications (the latter is the mainthing honestly). Oh and the mobile site came from me asking XD. I love what @ceruleanspark has done with the site since he took it over, and its so much better, but it just lacks one thing., something it probably wont ever get due to it being a site, and thats desktop notifications :3

@cavatina Choqok is a nice client, but I wouldn't recommend it for GTK environments either due to the KDE dependencies. Perhaps give gwibber a try? I've heard good things about it, albeit I have never tried it myeslf.

@cavatina I personally don't really need notifications, I tend to check the site often enough to know when I've had a reply :P Not always, but still.
