                @rarity hehe! I see your point. I suppose there's no telling who or what he'd be into, but as far as Fluttershy goes, if my experience with real life Fluttershies are any indication, I think she'll end up with someone assertive and not too shy, even if they're not her ideal match. If she has a choice though, I think she'd choose somepony like herself.

                  @lulu She sees Discord as someone to take care of though, if that S3 episode is any indication. That's got to be worth something, she seems like the type to mother her partner like that

                    @rarity Ah really good point. My experience agrees. Fluttershies do like to take care of their partners. If Discord is into her then, like I said, I totally see her going with it, even if she'd probably be happier with somepony a bit closer to herself personality-wise.

                      @lulu That's why it's pretty much the only ship I care about, because it's so believable. Obviously if she found a soulmate or something it'd be different though. You've read Twilight right? You remember how Bella was going to settle for Jacob in the second book, and she would have been happy, but then her ~precious Edward~ came along again? That's the best comparison I can think of

                        @rarity Hmm. Interesting. I can see that happening. Also, if any of the other mane 6 were into Fluttershy, except maybe Pinkie, I think Flutters would reciprocate readily so long as she too swings that way. Pinkie would have to be persistent and show Flutters that she can be calm when it matters, then it might work. And as for Spike, hmm.. I think she'd try to let him down easy, but if he were persistent (as would be likely), then that too could work out.

                        The thing about Fluttershy is that she's so laid back she'd make a good partner for most anybody. This is the blessing and the curse of being a Fluttershy.
