              @toksyuryel Yeah. If windows 8 is gonna do anything, they gotta split it into windows 8 metro and windows 8 aero. And keep them SEPERATE. I dont want huge stupid icons on my mouse and keyboard only computer. It's inpractical. Tablets are impractical for anything but quick web browsing. Using one for work is idiotic.

                  @toksyuryel Yes. Linux is the way to go. And guess what? Windows 8 will screw with that too with it's frikkin secureboot that they are forcing manufactures to build into their BIOS. Pretty much force boots windows every time. And some manufacturers have confirmed they WON'T be including a toggle for it.

                      @toksyuryel @eaglehooves Yup. Look it up. They are even trying to push their own version of BIOS that won't support Linux at all. This is why I hoard computers. Somebody PLEASE shoot the guy who thought up this blatantly obvious cashgrab.

                              @eaglehooves Hmm, but its still a dick move by M$. It's funny though, no matter how hard any company tries to electronically protect something, it gets cracked. Example is iOS. apple releases a literally unjailbreakable update; users release either a way to jailbreak anyway or just troll them and release a downgrade tool.

                      @toksyuryel They are going the way of the kaibah and saying "screw the rules I have money". Secureboot is supposedly implimented to stop viruses from breaking the system boot stuff. But its kinda obvious that its just M$ trying to make people forget that computers can run anything but windows.
