Little did Nancy and her friends know, their parents were hiding a secret.
Her mother was horrified upon seeing the battered fedora that her daughter found in her bed; she knew that hat. Sitting down, she told her daughter of a past she tried to forget. That hat belonged to a man called Freddy Kruger, and years ago, he was burned alive, because he was a Nice Guy and everybody got tired of his papayas.Saturday, 22-Feb-14 02:11:30 UTC from web-
@mrmattimation Freddy was far from a nice guy. XD The original NOES is ...yeah, you're not supposed to like Freddy. That's the only film Wes made for the series, besides "Wes Craven's New Nightmare," which tries to make the artistic best of a silly, worthless series of uninspired sequels.

@clayinthecarpet He's an acquitted child murderer/molester, isn't he?

@mrmattimation Freddy? No, it's never stated that he did any of the molesting stuff. He DID kill children, though. Lots of them.

@clayinthecarpet In the remake he's a molester.

@mrmattimation The remake is crap and needs to be buried alive. It is not canon in the original series. It is a remake.

@clayinthecarpet And, as I understand, he was also a molester in the original script for the original NOES but they changed it.

@mrmattimation They did change it. Yes, the intent was there. But in the end, they never made him a molester. ONLY a killer. That's why he's so "popular."...He has a lot of one-liners and simply kills people awesomely in the sequels.
