      @neuraria Yup, it does, it is sort of useless to use it though. Sort of how I guess WhatsApp will be once you have to start paying for those things.

              @neuraria I guess I can always recommend IRC and/or a good old fashioned forum and a shoutbox. Those do not offer VOIP capabilities though, but here is a nice article http://ur1.ca/gplfu ( I like 4 our of 6 )

              @neuraria Teamspeak/mumble/ventrilo all suffer from the "not really a good text-based chat"-ism ... Not sure what you are looking for though

                @critialcloudkicker As it happens some of us already use Teamspeak/Mumble now and then (the !deadbeats that is, and we're only a subset of the main group of friends we all have), but yeah most of us still text-chat
