@foxgopher I was thinking if it were early post-war it would only have the one taillamp? Not too sure. Either rate a neat project no matter what way you may wish to take with her, and with a Bug there's plenty ways.

@awl I mean it obviously has a Baja kit on it, which I think I'll keep cause it would cost too much to convert. I have a new ignition switch coming in sometime this week so we'll see what it does.

@foxgopher right rear strut is blown, left front strut leaks, the power steering is leaking worse than before. Might be developing a problem with a hydraulic engine mount too but that's unsure.

@awl Oh dude power steering is such a blessing once you realize what life is like without it. Hope that isn't gonna be a horrible cleanup though.

@foxgopher i grapesing hate power steering hoses on transverse-mounted engines. Struts are the major thing right now though; the rear sags. Not as much as say if the springs are broken but i notice it.

@foxgopher oh yes, the down however is that due to working on cars i'm reluctant to work on mine own. Unless it's the celica. That thing's actually fun for tinkering.
