          1. @scribble Most important birthday ever. Do you already have a drivers license? The plus in mobility really enhanced my life.

Friday, 18-May-12 11:06:57 UTC from web
            1. @hakupony No. Don't really have any intention to drive anyway.

Friday, 18-May-12 11:07:26 UTC from web
              1. @scribble you should get one anyway. its better ID than one of those PASS cards. in that its actually useful and cant be declined by anyone.

Friday, 18-May-12 11:08:11 UTC from web
              2. @scribble I don't actually enjoy it but it is great when you can drive - especially if you travel longer distances with some friends, you can take turns in driving and get over quite some distance and keep much stuff with you. We, for example, did drive 600km, to camp somewhere and hit each other with rubber swords :P

Friday, 18-May-12 11:10:14 UTC from web
                1. @hakupony It's the cost and general fear of me driving that's stopping me.

Friday, 18-May-12 11:11:17 UTC from web
                  1. @scribble Drivers license is £50, and counts as ID. thats why most people even have a license at our age. XD. Fear of driving/Cost isnt really a reason to not get one...its nice to have a piece of card that means you wont get refused entry to anything 18+, without any questions asked. some places dont accept PASS.

Friday, 18-May-12 11:13:04 UTC from web
                    1. @cavatina Honestly, that's probably the only reason I'd get one. As ID

Friday, 18-May-12 11:15:19 UTC from web
                  2. @scribble The cost is relative - if you travel in groups, it is not really expensive. About the fear: is there a particular reason to it? Because I was afraid the first time i was driving a car too, but this is what practical lessons are for - today I'm more afraid if somepony else drives as when I do.

                    1. @hakupony Just the fact that there's so much potential to mess up from what I've seen. And messing up while driving seems to be a case of life or death.

Friday, 18-May-12 11:14:56 UTC from web
                      1. @scribble No - most people who messed up while driving just damage their car because most accidents happen when you drive slowly. I had some of them too but I always am in control of my car, especialy when I am a bit faster. Last sunday evening, a fox crossed the street right in fron of me and I still had time to react without things even getting close. Why? Because I know my car and I don't take risks. If you keep your respect for what could happen, you will be a safe driver.

                        1. @hakupony Maybe when I get lessons, I might feel better about it

                          1. @scribble I hope so ^_^ So, what do you intend to do on your first day as an adult? Will you celebrate today?

                    2. @hakupony @scribble my fear of driving is...well because i dont know how. i'm kinda sure that's scribbles too...which is why lessons exist... My dad explained it kinda well in that you feel better when you know how to drive, and ARE driving, cause you are in control.

Friday, 18-May-12 11:15:33 UTC from web

              1. @cavatina It's not the day but the instances when you notice you just have some more rights. I was lucky and even got to vote a few days afer my birthday. For me, this was something really important :)

              2. @cavatina My birthdays in general are dole poor. No party, everyone's on vacation, and even my family is too lazy to get together.
