            @awlderpy The characteristic energy signature produced by the burning of pot acts as a beacon for the fleet, and the trail of smoke released serves to calculate wind currents. Bongs, on the other hand, distort the energy signature to mask it and allow it to travel further in the void so that the fleet's probes can do persistent height mapping of the planet.
