                              @metaltao Admittedly, I only recently started using this site again. Work and college have had me rather busy (I am doing both on a full-time basis). Fortunately, the end is in sight; I should graduate in the spring.

                              I am an introvert that likes spending time in his personal study and at gun ranges. ;)

                                @m14brony Hence, M14! HUZZAH! I like that style and family of guns. It is rather aesthetically pleasing and feels great I have heard, I have yet to hold one. Or any gun for that matter, I want to.

                                  @metaltao The M14, and its predecessor, the M1 Garand, definitely feel well-built. Their actions are smooth, and the rifles have decent accuracy. Shooting them isn't cheap, given the prices of .308/7.62X51mm and .30-06 ammunition, but I have started reloading ammunition to save a bit of money.

                                  The M14 variant I own is the Springfield Armory M1A (a civilian legal variant lacking selective fire).

                                      @metaltao The M1A is strictly semi-automatic. It is extremely difficult and expensive for a civilian in the US to legally obtain any sort of burst or full-auto gun.
