    1. @rainbowcrash592 Pretty uneventful honestly. Mostly just watching anime and playing music, did a bit of work around the neighbourhood too.

            1. @rainbowcrash592 I've seen the anime for that as well. It was alright, not my favourite Shojo series.

                1. @rainbowcrash592 It was pretty good, nothing worth writing home about but entertaining enough to be worth watching if you're looking for a Shojo.

                  1. @northernnarwhal the books are better natsuki takaya does a good job especially on tohru and hatori and momigi

                    1. @rainbowcrash592 The manga is usually better, I'm just usually too lazy or don't have the time to read it.

                      1. @northernnarwhal the show leaves out 14 volumes worth of story in the middle. why would they do that

Sunday, 31-Aug-14 23:54:40 UTC from web
                        1. @rainbowcrash592 Maybe because of production times/costs, they needed to streamline the arc of the story from point A to point B.

Sunday, 31-Aug-14 23:55:30 UTC from web
                          1. @northernnarwhal yeah butin the end the curse breaks

Sunday, 31-Aug-14 23:56:20 UTC from web
                            1. @rainbowcrash592 and they don't even put that in the show

Sunday, 31-Aug-14 23:56:52 UTC from web
                            2. @rainbowcrash592 That's true, but that happens a lot in anime adaptations. Studios aren't made of money.

Sunday, 31-Aug-14 23:57:55 UTC from web
                              1. @northernnarwhal i guess. the point is, every movie or tv show that was based off a book has the same problem: the book was better

                                1. @rainbowcrash592 They're doing a pretty good job with the Hobbit movies.

                                  1. @nerthos And the Lord of the Rings trilogy is legendary

                                    1. @northernnarwhal But they still put too much stuff in too little screentime. The same thing isn't happening with The Hobbit, as there's three long movies for a short book.

Monday, 01-Sep-14 00:01:28 UTC from web
                                      1. @nerthos If anything they alleviated the sluggish pacing of the original novels without sacrificing any significant plot points, and the cinematography is gorgeous. The effects are really great too.

Monday, 01-Sep-14 00:03:08 UTC from web
                                        1. @northernnarwhal Gotta agree on the pacing. The novels were basically an attempt at conveying imagery through text.

Monday, 01-Sep-14 00:05:34 UTC from web
                                          1. @nerthos Well, Tolkien was originally a cartographer. His greatest talented was making his worlds incredibly detailed and thorough.

                                  2. @nerthos yeah exept IT WAS ONLY ONE BOOK PEOPLE STOP DRAGGING IT OUT

Monday, 01-Sep-14 00:02:15 UTC from web
                                    1. @rainbowcrash592 The decision that made it so good in the first place is that they made three movies to be able to put everything in them.

Monday, 01-Sep-14 00:03:21 UTC from web
                                      1. @nerthos it is just a prequell to the lord of the rings which in my opinion could use more movies

Monday, 01-Sep-14 00:04:59 UTC from web
                                        1. @rainbowcrash592 The Hobbit is not a prequel to LoTR, LoTR is a sequel to The Hobbit.

                                2. @rainbowcrash592 The problem is they shouldn't even be compared in the first place. They're entirely different mediums and have entirely different presentation methods.
