-
@ecmc Huzzah! Seems we're gonna have quite a nice little RDN group there. :)
-
@purplephish20 If you chicken out, I will eat your family. (J/k, but seriously, I'm really looking forward to meeting you, so I'd be kinda disappointed.)
-
@bitshift yes, indeed. Im just worried I will have to leave like... 3 in the afternoon
-
@purplephish20 Oh yeah, you're travelling from quite far away, aren't you? Hm...
-
@bitshift Which train station am I going to? Im on the train line and I have a number of choices...
-
@bitshift This was actually one of the main reasons I wanted to go.
-
@ecmc we can at least have a part "team name" reunion!!!
-
@purplephish20 9 3/4?
-
@purplephish20 Well, since I seem to recall the meetup is starting in the Pallasades, go for New Street unless it's prohibitively more expensive than your other options. (This is the best choice because here are escalators straight from the station into the Pallasades.)

@bitshift MFW £45 ticket http://ur1.ca/9e36u
-
@purplephish20 What. I know from experience that it's only £24, _including return_, for me to get into the darkest reaches of Wales, so that sounds pretty ridiculous. :/
-
@purplephish20 Did you check National Rail? I got £20 return ticket on there, from London. It actually surprised me a lot.
-
@bitshift check yourself... worksop to birmingham on the 2nd june....£45
-
@ecmc link?
-
@purplephish20 Forget it. Just checked Worksop to New Street and they're like £50. This boggles my mind.
-
@purplephish20 Nyeeeeh. That's not good at all. I mean, I guess it at least includes return, but that's still pretty pricey. :(
