    1. @mrmattimation I meant from a design/marketing standpoint. If they wanted people to think that 8.1 WASN'T the same OS as 8, they wouldn't have named it 8.1

      1. @rarity Yeah but at the same time they didn't call the Windows 7 updates "Windows 7.1". I'm pretty sure they were marketing it as a much more major upgrade than previous updates to past versions of Windows.
