@nerthos I was hit by a car and spent a couple weeks in and out of a comatose state, after which I spent many many months doing physical therapy so I can walk with a cane. It was fun

@nerthos I got hit by an 18 year old college freshmans Buick crossing the road to get to campus one morning. She was going 35 and texting while driving. She hit me from the back which made me rag doll and slam my skull against her hood.

@nerthos she (her family) paid for ALL of my medical bills which was pretty sweet. I don't actually know how court turned out for her. Don't know what happened for the week after I got hit and the month that followed me getting up and around are still hazy

@madflavors Makes sense. From what I know of law and since they paid for your bills she probably got her license revoked and probation or something instead of jail time, but it's something.
