    Something that has always weirded me out is why some people use non-lethal traps to catch mice and rats and just... release them.

      @righteousnarwhal They want to get rid of them out of the house but don't want to kill them. That's the same when people catch spiders but release them out of the window.

        @broniebrown Spiders are useful though. Mice and rats are very damaging plagues, and carry deadly disease. If you just release them they'll show up again.
